Despite a difficult childhood, including a health issue that forced a year-long leave of absence as a freshman, Jasmine maintained a positive focus, supported others, and exhibited a passion for learning.
A DAR Good Citizen, Waite volunteered at a food pantry, served as an Admission Ambassador for prospective students, and arranged for “random acts of kindness” at her school. Her health issues brought her to a mission of helping others experience wellness, and she enrolled in the University of Maine as a Biology-Chemistry major.
Jasmine always found time to help others, and recognized the importance of working hard in order to achieve your goals in life.
