Brooklynn has overcome multiple challenges by believing in treating others with kindness and making a commitment to service. Keenly aware of being a minority, Brooklynn realized that the predominantly white high school population was comfortable with racism. She chose consistent, respectful and quiet conversations with individuals, recognizing that many small acts can help change attitudes.
Brooklynn plans to attend Husson University.
