While most of us take for granted our communities and how they shape our lives, Filipe has a true appreciation for his community that has given him the opportunities that have shaped his character. Caring and concern for others are predominant characteristics. His empathy towards others and their struggles is unwavering as he appreciates the importance of education that he emphasizes so well.
He has shown his gratitude for the opportunities afforded him by giving back to his community in many ways. His work ethic is nothing but remarkabe.
Filipe will attend Bob Jones University in the fall.
