Angelina Graceffa

$5000 Maine Community Bank
2023 Falmouth High School

“She makes the volunteer organizations and activities that she is involved in better.”

Angelina is an inspiring example of taking on responsibility to care for others, in her community and her family.

Since the second grade, Angelina has participated in “Wisdom Tea,” a monthly meeting of seniors and students in conversations that allow elders to share their hard-earned knowledge.  Angelina eventually became a facilitator of these sessions.

She leads “Best Buddies,” an organization that links disabled and non-disabled students in her high school.  She conducted remote storytelling to elementary students during COVID.  She volunteers to deliver furniture for Furniture Friends, an organization that matches donated furniture with needy homes.  She led and revitalized Falmouth High’s service club, actively recruiting and cajoling others to participate.

Most recently Angelina wrote and self-published a children’s book that addresses an issue that is important to her – diversity and inclusion.

Angelina will attend Villanova University in the fall.
